Uh, hello?
I'd like to get S-N-O-D, and Mama wants it too.
So... uh... we're pretty nice, so...
Have you any S-N-O-D?
Yeah? OK.
Bye bye."

This is so funny! Emma sometimes surprises us by knowing what we spell…

I thought this was hilarious when you emailed me about it. So glad you shared it here as well. Colin and I will often spell, but throw in extra mystery letters, if we don’t want the girls to know. Like, “Do you want some I-C-E C-R-E-A-Q-X-M later?” Katie is now interested in how we know so many words that contain X and Q!

We used to spell. That is, until Joshua started getting older and can now understand our spelling! Now we have to find creative ways to say something we don’t want the kids to hear!

This is so funny! You and Ben may have to invent some grown up sign language in a few years. I have a feeling S-N-O-D won’t be in high demand for long. The only word we have to use code for is “walk” and that’s because our dog gets so excited when he hears it!
