While Nikki and Michael took turns pretending to be Jesus praying at the Garden of Gethsemane, being betrayed by Judas Iscariot, dying on the cross, being buried, overcoming Satan, and rising from the dead, little Vi had the role of Judas Iscariot.
Her job was to collect money (small smooth stones) from the Pharisees (me), kiss Jesus, be sad, and give the money back to the Pharisees. She talked a lot about how it wasn’t nice that Judas betrayed Jesus.

Those are such great pictures of Vi! And she’s right… it wasn’t nice at all of Judas to do that. I’m glad she’s able to get in on the play with her older siblings.
Love the expressions you’ve captured! Maybe next time they can act out the resurrection and she can be Mary or an angel.
They always include the resurrection! Vi is often one of the Marys or an angel, but they change how things go each time. This was the first time I had seen them include Judas.
I want a coat just like hers. It’d match my hat! Course there’s no way I’d be as cute. You will be so glad you captured these precious moments and face expressions! Isn’t it amazing how much they grasp at such a young age? Awesome.
Beautiful photos. I love hearing about the way your children bring scripture to life on a daily basis.
Acting things out is such a great way to learn! Funny how darn cute she can look when acting out this very serious play!
